Calcium Lactate PLUS
Calcium Lactate PLUS is a mixture of calcium lactate and malic acid. This product has been specially designed for the calcium fortification of clear beverages such as apple juice. It is tasteless and compared to common calcium lactate it has a high solubility in a broad pH range.
Furthermore, Calcium Lactate PLUS dissolves faster in water-based products than calcium lactate, it shows an enhanced solubility and provides therefore essentially more dissolved calcium.
Moreover, Calcium Lactate PLUS shows a steady solubility in applications with a high pH-value, while the solubility of calcium lactate in products with pH-values over 7 continually decreases. For the fortification of carbonated products with calcium, Calcium Lactate PLUS is the first choice.
