Chemical technician

The chemical technician produces basic materials for the production of pharmaceuticals, colouring, synthetic materials, detergents and other chemical products. At the beginning of the production they weigh items, fill them in bins and schedule the particular steps of production in agreement with the production foreman. As far as possible they are responsible for setting up and running the machines. Sometimes the production process involves more than one step, so the chemical technician has to observe the process very carefully. During the production they take samples which are analysed in the laboratory to assure quality restrictions. The apprenticeship to become chemical technician will take 3,5 years and is carried out in school as well as in the company. The offered vacancies are presented in our joblisting.

The intensive introduction week was the corner stone for a successful start with Dr. Paul Lohmann®. Afterwards I gained various experiences within different ranges of production. By the in-house instruction and the intensive test preparatory phase it is guaranteed, that one is prepared in an optimal way for examinations in the vocational school.
