Microencapsulation

verkapseltes mineralsalz A microencapsulation separates a mineral salt from its environment. This is, for example, necessary when a mineral salt has an unpleasant flavor or may react chemically with the foodstuffs they are added to.

Due to our unique technology of microencapsulation, mineralsalts can be used in foods without affecting their taste, texture or shelf life. Single particles are covered with a protective layer of hydrogenated vegetable fat - or other coatings that, according to requirements, can be matched exactly for the purpose.

Ferrous Sulfate, dried(E, ET, SE)

The raw materials used correspond to the demands of the present pharmacopoeia (Ph.Eur, USP), the relevant legal foodstuffs regulations (EU law, FCC) or according to customer specifications. Raw materials may not always be from our own production.

Types :

Type E: Microencapsulation to mask an undesirable taste. This product variant can help avoiding a metallic or astringent taste. Suitable for foodstuffs with low water activity, for example mueslis and cereals or for the application in vitamin and mineral blends

Type ET: Dense microencapsulation. The product reduces the risk of oxidation of an iron compound in hydrous or liquid foodstuffs. Suitable applications are for example confectionery, dry milk products for babies or energy bars for athlets.

Type SE: Extra dense quality for the secure avoidance of oxidation in hydrous or liquid foodstuffs. This product variant is particularly suitable for instant products like dry milk products for babies
