Scholarship for students of natural sciences

Once a year we will give an exclusive scholarship to a talented young student of chemistry. The scholarship is assigned in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences in Münster, department of chemical engineering, and advances the most talented student within the regular period of study with a monthly amount of money for career advancement. It begins with the period of main studies and will last for maximal 3,5 years till graduation with Bachelor or Master degree. Besides this financial support, that facilitates the scholar to buy specific literature etc., the scholarship implies internships as well as the coaching in professional subjects and in writing your thesis.

To apply for the scholarship you should fulfil the following requirements:

  • Being at the start of the main study period as student of chemistry at UAS Münster
  • Successful finishing of basic study period with above average results
  • Practical work experience and high commitment
  • High motivation and interest in natural sciences especially chemistry.

Dr. Paul Lohmann starts university cooperation with University of Applied Sciences in Münster

Well educated high potential students, that are experienced in research, development und application techniques, are rare to find. Therefore Dr. Paul Lohmann decided to accept the challenge and cooperate with the UAP Münster, department of chemical engineering, to advance the transfer of theory and practice. The first achievement was the assignment of a scholarship. Lisa Siewert, student of chemical engineering since 2007 at UAP Münster, is the first scholar. She will benefit from a monthly amount of money for career advancement, has the option to do internships with DPL and will bei supported to get practical work experience in special fields of interest. Jürgen Lohmann, CEO: "This cooperation enables us to cultivate a cooperation between schools, training schools, universities and enterprises with a strong focus on natural sciences. We think in a long run concering this aspects." We wish Lisa Siewert a successful study and many valuable positive working experiences with Dr. Paul Lohmann.
